Reilly and Freight Direction Pull Together for Victims of Washington Tornado!
On November 17, 2013, a powerful tornado ripped through downstate Washington, IL and was classified as an EF-4. A fast-moving storm system that spawned multiple tornadoes which touched down across the Midwest, leaving behind a path of destruction in 12 states.
When Vickie Reilly President and founder of Reilly International received the news that dear friends of hers whom live in Washington were asking for help and donations for the victims, she immediately contacted every one she could to collect food and clothing and help all those in need.
She reached out to Team Reilly, asking for any spare clothing, coats, sweaters, baby stuff, shoes, boots etc. She asked to also spread the word. She organized with our partner Freight Direction to provide a truck to transport all the donations to Bone Roofing who also organized a roofing crew together to go and help over Thanksgiving weekend.
There were many items coming in on that Monday morning and the Team really pitched in and quickly loaded up the truck to get these out to the victims as soon as possible.
